As a colorist it is important to always have a conversation with clients about their hair when they come sit in my chair . Many clients in past could have had bad experiences with their hair color . I believe that today many hair dressers are not up to par in hair color chemistry and the understanding of hair color chemicals, this will cause in wrong formulas for clients. Color placement and color choices are set be individually per client depending on hair color history, as well as condition of hair , eye color and skin tone helps determine what formulas to use as well choosing the right levels of developers in formulas.
